Sheathing Tape

Sheathing tape is used for sealing seams of all exterior sheathing materials to create a tight vapor seal. Sheathing tape can also be used to repair tears and punctures on interior and exterior vapor barrier systems. Our SC-1850 sheathing tape features a 2 mil polypropylene carrier with a cold weather acrylic adhesive system. The acrylic adhesive system has excellent tack and performs well in sub freezing temperatures.

Aluminum Foil Tape

Aluminum Foil Tape (Scrim/Kraft Tape) can be utilized as a closure system for fiberglass and mineral wool insulation systems that are faced with foil. Aluminum Foil Tape (Scrim/Kraft Tape) is also used to seal seams and joints on aluminum faced fiberglass duct board and used to provide a vapor barrier that assures the integrity of the system. Our SC-1350 Aluminum Foil Tape features a three way dead soft malleable aluminum foil/fiberglass scrim/paper coated with an aggressive synthetic rubber pressure sensitive adhesive carried on a removable paper release liner and provides quick, positive grab to insulation surface.

Window Glazing Tape

Designed for window glazing, our Window Glazing Tape is AAMA-certified tested and approved. DC-1700 (1/16” thick) and DC-1710 (3/32” thick) feature high performance closed cell cross-linked polyethylene foam coated on both sides with a high performance solvent-based acrylic adhesive. Adhesive system is formulated to bond with glass, wood, and aluminum substrates with quick stick, high peel adhesion and very good shear strength.
